Analysis of main functions and application scope of LNG storage tank

LNG storage tank is used more and more frequently to store industrial gas in industrial applications. What is the analysis of various functions and application scope of LNG storage tank? Heze boiler manufacturer will analyze the main function and application scope of LNG storage tank for you.

LNG storage tanks are widely used in textile, gas, ceramics, chemical, food, metallurgy, machinery and other industries to store gas or fuel. For industrial plants with large usage, it is essential to have a good LNG storage tank to store gas.

LNG storage tank is usually composed of inner tank and outer tank, with thermal insulation material filled in the middle.

The inner tank, also known as "membrane tank", is a liquid tight and flexible inner container made of thin low-temperature steel plate. It must transfer the hydraulic head to the insulation. Materials used as thin films must have the characteristics of non embrittlement at low temperature, sufficient toughness and good processability. Nickel steel, stainless steel or aluminum alloy are usually used.

While transmitting the hydraulic head to the outer tank, the thermal insulation layer also plays the role of reducing the gasification capacity, reducing the temperature difference between the inner and outer walls of the tank and reducing the resulting temperature difference stress. In addition, it also has the function of fixing the "film". Therefore, it is required that the thermal conductivity of the insulation layer is small and has sufficient strength.

The outer tank of LNG storage tank is the shell that can bear various loads, and it must have sufficient strength. According to the different materials used, it can be divided into the following types: frozen soil wall, steel wall, reinforced concrete wall and prestressed concrete wall. The elevated type is to support the tank chassis with columns to separate it from the ground, keep the pressure between the LNG tank and the ground unblocked, and prevent LNG from absorbing a large amount of heat from the ground, so as to avoid soil freezing.
